Can I still trade items during The Awakening?

Yes, the Gigamarket will function as usual with one update: players who aren’t juiced will incur a listing fee in order to list items for sale.

What happens to the rest of my items that don't carry over?

Items that don’t carry over (and therefore have no use in Gigaverse Online) must be converted to Cores (via the available conversion deals during The Awakening), or used for crafting.

Your Core count will then be logged & memorialized in the Hall of Noobs eternally.

Will the carry over items have utility in Gigaverse Online?

Unless it is explicitly stated otherwise, carry over items will only be for cosmetic or prestige purposes only.

This is important to allow for a more accessible & scalable design, that ensures there is no “new player wall” (needless to say, new players do not want to play a game they feel disadvantaged in).

What happens to the current version of the game?

After The Awakening, our current plan is to retire the existing instance of the game (i.e. the existing Gigaverse as you know it), so that we can fully focus on the final development stages of Gigaverse Online. In this case, all existing progress - including skill levels, findex progress & stats, and any other account details, will persist in the Hall of Noobs forever.

What will happen to eggs / gigling feeding? How will I feed my Giglings / how will Giglings produce dung / butterflies? How will I hatch my remaining eggs?

We will make updates to the item requirements and sources for key racing-related actions. This will all likely be within the racing loop itself, so that racing works in and of itself as a simpler, independent game.

Will Giglings have additional utility in Gigaverse Online?

Yes, riding a Gigling will be the fastest & most effective way to traverse the open world.

When will Gigacha coins get utility?

Gigacha coins are an ‘eternal item’ that will be moved to your inventory in Gigaverse Online.

A new gacha design is in the early planning phase and will go live at some point after Gigaverse Online is live.

What will Giga Juice do in Gigaverse Online?

Giga Juice will continue to offer a premium experience of the game, and be the obvious choice for anyone who regularly plays Gigaverse Online.

Its exact utility will be explained closer to launch, and your remaining juiced days will carry over from the existing Gigaverse game to Gigaverse Online.

What will Relic armour do in Gigaverse Online?

Relic armour will be redesigned to provide an economic benefit rather than a gameplay advantage.

More details will be shared closer to the release of Gigaverse Online.

Will Gigaverse Online allow builders to continue making tools for the game?

As with the first version of Gigaverse, Gigaverse Online is being built to enable 3rd party builders to create useful tools & apps for the community.

Will Gigaverse Online go live immediately after the end of The Awakening?

There will be a period of downtime between the end of The Awakening event, and the launch of Gigaverse Online. This period will be used to conclude the event, distribute rewards, and ensure Gigaverse Online is ready to launch, with your new account ready to be claimed / linked to your old one. During the downtime, GIGABIT withdrawals will still be possible, and your remaining days of Giga Juice will be paused.
